Earth shaking revelelation...In 10 days the United States will have a balanced budget. August 2,2011 is the projected date, although some sources now say it is August 10th, the United States government will reach its debt limit. After that date, there will be no more sales of T-bills and U.S. Bonds, the sale of which creates more debt, in other words, the government can no longer borrow money, until it pays down some of its current debt.

The government faces the same situation we do when we have reached the borrowing limit of a credit card, we can no longer use the credit card, we must pay cash for all our expenses and we still have to make payment on the credit card debt.

This is what the government is faced with. August 2nd is not a default date. It is a date we can no longer borrow money. August 2nd is not the date our credit rating tanks, quite the opposite. It is preposterous to think that being unable to go further into debt weakens your financial position. Try that one on your banker and see how long it takes to laugh you out of the bank.

When the debt ceiling is reached, either "revenue" must increase, most assuredly through the raising of tax rates or the creation of new taxes, or expenses must be cut. One or the other, or a combination of both, must take place immediately.

The House passed a balanced budget amendment. How nice, but they don't mean it. If they do actually want the budget to be balanced, the House need do nothing. The budget will be balanced on August 2nd when our government is on a cash only basis. Of course that also means that spending cuts must immediately take place and the good news is they MUST take place. But this is a reality the House does not want to face.

The conservatives in the House hold all the cards. Do nothing and the budget is balanced in 10 days, with no new taxes or tax increases. Is it any wonder why the democrats are hysterical. One must keep in mine that it is the HOUSE that holds the purse strings and raising taxes is NOT in the mix. So what can be done???? The only thing left would be drastic cuts in spending. But knowing the political climate in Washington, there will be a "COMPROMISE"...Lets hope it is sane one!

The brutal murder of dozens of innocent Norwegian civilians several days ago has shocked the Freedom Party (Dutch PVV). We mourn and stand by the Norwegian people who suffer from a massive blow.

The manifesto of the perpetrator makes clear that this is a madman. He wants to work with Al Qaeda (which he cherishes great admiration for), craves the bombing of cities, dreams of knights that surgically mutilate themselves, and wants to meet his hero Karadzic.

Breivik also refers to the Netherlands. That the fight against Islam is violently abused by a psychopath is disgusting and a slap in the face of the global anti-Islamic movement. It fills me with disgust that the perpetrator refers to the PVV and me in his manifesto.

Neither PVV nor I are responsible for a lone idiot who twisted and violently abused the freedom-loving anti- Islamization ideals, no matter how much some people would like that. We are democrats at heart. The Freedom Party has never, ever called for violence and will never do. We believe in the power of the ballot box and the wisdom of the voter. Not bombs and guns.

We fight for a democratic and nonviolent means against the further Islamisation of society and will continue to do so. The preservation of our freedom and security is our only goal.

Well, I didn't read the 1500 page manifesto, linked from the video version attributed to Breivik. However, the video puts out the "plan" of the Islamofascists in clear, distinct images and brief text. I'm still wondering who's kidding who. If indeed Breivik is the violent man who committed the massacre--who really is the author of the video that has a most reasonable, rational tone? I guess I'll have to delve into the text manifesto and see if it carries a different tone signature--is how I would expect to see it for a madman
